Wheeler Christmas Party

Morgan playing the organ

Morgan and Maisy playing the chimes with Uncle Phil

Huson was a little nervous when Santa came into the room but as soon as he saw the other kids get on Santa's lap and Santa gave them a present and candy he jumped right up there when it was his turn.
Maisy and Santa

Morgan and Santa

My favorite family tradition is the Christmas party at my Mom's house on Christmas Eve. There is always good food, it is fun to watch family members participate in the Christmas program, the kids enjoy exchanging presents with each other and of course Santa comes to visit.

Goof Ball

Hudson with his new tools that Brock gave him. He is such a goof ball! I wonder where he gets it from?

Giant Snowman

Reid Christmas Party

The Sunday before Christmas Grandma and Grandpa Reid have their annual Christmas party. We have dinner, take a hay ride to the Festival of Lights, the cousins exchange presents and the best part of all Maridan makes yummy Pina Colada! Makes sense to drink something cold after a freezing hay ride.

Grandma Reid made Morgan and Maisy matching pajamas for their American Girl dolls.

Maisy's Elf Party

Today Maisy's kindergarten class is having an Elf party. The kids were suppose to come dressed as elf's. We were hurrying to get to school this morning and forgot to take a picture before we left, so we took this picture outside of the school while it was snowing and about 18 degrees. Needless to say our little elf was freezing, but oh so cute!

Travis Turns 29 (for the 8th time)

He may be 29, but he is still young at heart!

Sunday was Travis's birthday. The girls decorated the kitchen with balloons and streamers and I baked him his favorite raspberry cake. It was not a very exciting birthday, but we had fun as a family chillin at home on a very cold day.

Morgan's Baptism

Morgan was baptized by her Dad on Saturday, December 6th. Morgan is such a sweet spirit. She looked like a angel on her special day. We are so proud of her decision to be baptized.
We love you Morgan!

More Presents? Haven't you had enough parties for this year?
Look Mom, I am an awesome skater!
Best Friends
The Reid family went ice skating the day after Thanksgiving to celebrate three cousins birthdays (Morgan's included). It is so awesome that our kids are best friends with all their cousins. They always have so much fun when they get together.

2008 Annual Dogeball Tournament

Every Thanksgiving Spanish Fork Rec puts on a dodgeball tournament and the Wheeler family participates. It is always a lot of fun!

Let's Play Ball

American Girl

Finally!!!!!!!!! Morgan has been waiting patiently for months for her birthday so she could get an American Girl doll. She decided to name her Cloe.

The Celebration Continues

Morgan choose to go to Chuck-A-Rama for her birthday dinner. The staff sang happy birthday to Morgan and gave her the biggest rootbeer float she had ever seen. While we were finishing up, who should come over and talk to Morgan, but Santa. The kids were amazed that Santa was eating at the same place we were. Santa was very gracious and let us take pictures with him. Not to many people can say that they had dinner with Santa on their birthday.

Birthday Party #2

Maisy, Averie, Sarah, Morgan, Alli

Party Time - Morgan took a couple of friends to "Jump On It" for her birthday. We went to lunch at Wendy's after, had cupcakes and opened presents. Happy 8th Birthday Morgan!

Little Hoopsters

This is Morgan's second year participating in the Little Hoopsters program. She loves getting out there and fighting for the ball (or is it that most of the players on her team are boys?). Either way she has a lot of fun.

Oh, how she hates those side aches!

The Celebration Begins

If anyone knows Morgan she likes to celebrate her birthday for at least a week. She started the birthday celebration four days early by going with her cousin Charlie who took her to dinner at LaCasita, to Wal-Mart to pick out her own gift and then to get their toenails painted. There is a lady her in Spanish Fork that paints all kinds of things on your toe nails. Morgan picked a Christmas Tree for one foot and a Snowman for the other. She had so much fun. Charlie always knows how to make my girls feel special. Thanks Char!

First Piano Recital

Morgan's first piano recital was Saturday. I am so proud of her. She is doing really well.
Morgan's teacher Stephanie

We have the best family. They are always so supportive. Aunt Dawn brought Morgan roses and she was so excited. Thanks for always being there.

The HUT!

The girls are in there somewhere.

The girls decided to make a hut in the family room to play in. They begged me all week to let them sleep in their hut. Being the mean mom that I am I made them wait until the weekend. Friday night they FINALLY got to sleep in their hut, which they thought was so much fun until they got scared and came in our room at 5:00 am. We definitely need a bigger bed.

Dancing with the Reid Stars

Travis and I got our own personal Dancing with the Stars performance. These girls definitely watch too much TV!
